We are our Habits
We are our Habits

“Habit is Stronger Than Reason” – George Santayana

We are the sum of our habits.

Too often we allow habits to develop subconsciously, automatically, bad ones insidiously.

You can control who you become by controlling your habits.

Choose the habits you believe will make you who you want to be.

Forming habits requires time and repetition. Do not. Be persistent.

Encourage habits by using triggers.

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” – Aristotle

From the appendix to The Power of  Habit: How Habits Work by Charles Duhigg.
